Model wearing the Khaki Modal Woven Dress in a photography studio with a concrete floor. The green woven dress has a sleeveless silhouette with a soft draped high neckline that falls around the neck and shoulder, creating gentle folds through the upper body. Pleats at the left shoulder feed into the neckline drape, while a single pleat at the left waist adds shape and a more commercial finish to the silhouette. The back features a cut-away detail that opens into the draped neckline, with a thigh-high split adding movement through the skirt. The dress is finished with three 18 ligne self-covered buttons and dye-to-match elastic loops at the right shoulder, providing an easy way into the dress while forming part of the design detail. Studio Iole developed the pattern as the creative pattern cutter, working through the drape, neckline, shoulder pleats, back cut-away and overall proportions using CLO3D mock-ups alongside the designers before moving into sampling.

Model wearing the Viscose Satin Low Scoop Maxi Slip Dress by Topshop. The glossy orange satin-style dress has a clean, fluid maxi silhouette with a regular fit and is cut on the bias, allowing the fabric to fall naturally around the body. The front features a square neckline finished with delicate rouleau straps, while the back has a low scoop shape that follows the fluid line of the dress. A clean finish has been achieved by bagging out the neckline with self lining and edge stitching the finish. The simple construction allows the colour, fabric and bias cut to create the main visual impact. Iole developed the pattern as the creative pattern cutter, working through the bias cut, fit, neckline, straps and back shape to achieve a clean finish.
