Studio Iole developed the pattern as the creative pattern cutter, working through the drape, neckline, shoulder pleats, back cut-away and overall proportions using CLO3D mock-ups alongside the designers before moving into sampling.

Drape Detail Midi Dress

Iole worked as the creative pattern cutter, developing the soft pleated draped neckline and cut-away back. CLO3D was utilised to create a mock-up and work through the shape digitally with the designers, helping to refine the drape, proportions and overall balance before moving into sampling. Particular attention was given to how the neckline fell into the back cut-away, refining the pattern to achieve the desired shape and fit.
