Built on principles of slow fashion, it prioritises natural fabrics and ethical production, creating collections that transcend seasons and trends. The fully reversible jacket features a round neckline, recycled horn button fastening, dropped shoulders, generous sleeves, shaped hem, fully bound edges and reversible pockets. Iole worked closely with on the initial design through fittings and refinements, with a particular focus on developing the sculptural silhouette and engineered sleeve.

The look is anchored by the balance, shape and construction of the garment, and the creative pattern was refined through sampling and fittings before being developed into the final sealed production pattern.

Iole realised the pattern for the Carolyn Jacket, with a particular care given to achieving its fitted, slim silhouette and clean, minimal proportions.

The pattern was engineered to work with the reversible construction, incorporating the funnel neck collar, front opening, patch pockets and contrast leather binding.

Iole developed the Camille Gilet through fittings and refinements, working closely on the wrap-over silhouette, round neckline, side-tie fastening and reversible construction.

The pattern was carefully developed to accommodate the fully bound finish and reversible pockets, ensuring a considered fit and finish on both sides.

Repeated each season, the Camille has become a timeless, hard-working piece designed for longevity. The final production pattern was prepared for hand-made production in East London.

The pattern was carefully worked through to create the wrap over front, dropped back hem and large patch pockets, which were drafted to conceal the under wrap fastening.

The pleated cuff detailing adds another considered element to the design. Cut in crisp black organic Japanese washed cotton, the final pattern was refined and prepared for production.

For Spring, the updated Shiloh is cut in heavyweight ecru organic cotton denim, with a high-waisted, slouchy barrel leg, double pleated front, elasticated back waist, engineered belt loops and generous front and back pockets. Topstitching and bar tacks reinforce the pockets for longevity, while the subtle double-darted ankle helps shape the relaxed silhouette. Studio Iole worked as the creative pattern cutter, developing the fit and construction through fittings and manually grading the final pattern into multiple sizes for a more inclusive fit.

Iole worked as the creative pattern cutter on the Shiloh Trouser, developing the high-waisted, relaxed barrel leg through fittings and refinements.

Iole concentrated on the curved leg shape, double pleated front, subtle double-darted ankle and large rear patch pocket.

Developed each season, this Spring version is cut in organic denim, with the final pattern refined and prepared for production.

Model wearing the Suki Drawstring Skirt by independent sustainable womenswear brand Studio Wylder. Made from 100% organic washed Japanese cotton, the midi skirt has a softly shaped waist that opens into a full, fluid deep hem. The stitched down pleats with contrast topstitching are carefully positioned to create the volume and movement, while the drawstring waist allows the fit to be adjusted. Deep, discreet pockets are built into the side seams for a clean finish. Studio Iole worked as the creative pattern cutter, developing the fit and construction through fittings and refinements through to the final production pattern.

Iole worked as the creative pattern cutter on the Suki Drawstring Skirt, developing the shape through fittings to create a fuller, fluid hem with a softly fitted waist.

The stitch-down pleats were carefully worked through to give the skirt its natural movement, while the drawstring waist and deep, discreet pockets add ease and practicality. The final pattern was refined and prepared for production.

Iole developed the Victoria Ruffle Neck Blouse, refining the fit, relaxed silhouette and construction through fittings, with particular attention to the ruffle neckline, wide front placket and deep French cuffs.

The final production pattern was refined and prepared for manufacture.

Model Tallulah wears the Tehya Drawstring Trouser in a studio in East London. Cut from crisp washed Japanese organic cotton in a rich Truffle shade, the trouser has a relaxed, gently slouching leg with a cropped hem and a shaped front created from a single pleat. The waistband is constructed with a front drawstring and softly elasticated back, allowing ease through the waist while maintaining the relaxed fit. The front pocket is engineered directly into the pleat, with the pocket opening concealed within the pleat line to keep the front clean while retaining functionality. Oversized back patch pockets are reinforced with bar tacks for stability and longevity, adding to the trouser's utilitarian feel while balancing the volume of the leg. Drawstrings at the hem allow the trouser to be worn open or gathered, changing the shape and proportion at the ankle. Studio Iole developed the pattern through fittings and refinements, working closely on the fit, pocket placement, pleat construction and adjustable details through to the final production pattern.

Tehya drawstring trouser
Late Summer / Pre-Fall 26

Iole led the pattern development on the Tehya Trouser, crafting the relaxed shape through fittings and refinements to get the proportions and ease just right.

The drawstring waistband, soft elasticated back and adjustable hem were carefully worked through to give the trouser a comfortable fit and allow the shape to change when worn.

An engineered front pocket is integrated into the pleat, allowing the pocket opening to be neatly concealed within the front detail.
