Iole worked through the tailored, vest-inspired bodice, fit and proportions of the wide-leg silhouette. The look is anchored by the square neckline, button-down waist bodice and front pleats, balancing the structured upper body with the relaxed volume through the legs.

The pattern was refined through development and fittings to achieve the final fit, proportions and shape.

Iole defined the close-fitting silhouette, asymmetric one-shoulder neckline and proportions of the midi length.

The main considerations were the draping across the shoulder and upper body, allowing the fabric to fall softly while maintaining the fitted shape through the body.

The side slit was carefully incorporated into the silhouette, balancing the draped upper body with the clean lines of the skirt.
